Meet our District Superintendent
Wm. Randall "Randy" Frye, D.Min., has served as the Johnson City District Superintendent since June 2005. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Asbury Theological Seminary, and Drew Theological School, Randy has been a member of Holston Conference since 1979. Email Randy

Meet our District Administrative Assistant
Betty N. Barton began working in the Johnson City District Office in January 1998. She attended East Tennessee State Universtiy, the Institute of Financial Education, and earned Advanced Certification as a Professional UMC Secretary through the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries (PAUMCS). She is a member of Cherokee UMC in Johnson City. Email Betty
Meet our Director of Hospitality
John Wesley is the newest employee of the Johnson City District Office, joining the team in October 2008. Born March 7, 2008, he is a 12 pound Shih Tzu who loves to cuddle and play. Wesley says, "I know that some people may be allergic to me or uncomfortable with me in the office. If you are one of those people, please let my personal assistant (Betty) know and she will let me rest in my special room while you are visiting. My feelings won’t be hurt at all! I just want everyone to be happy and will do whatever is needed to make that happen." Email John Wesley
